Long Canyon
Long Canyon is long, extending uncannily straight and due north for about nine miles to its beginnings on the western side 
of the southern end of the Waterpocket Fold. Lake Powell, however, only extends up Long Canyon about a mile at full pool. Long Canyon is downstream from the Rincon about mile 74. Bowns Canyon is its main tributary just inside the mouth to the left (west).
